You can use DVD Shrink to burn JUST the movie, no extras, and remove certain audio tracks (like commentaries) if you don't want them (which will save on compression, which will get you a better pic than compressing the whole thing to fit on a single DVD). Once you have it on your drive and you find it's on a dual layer disc, you can shrink it to fit on a single DVD-R by using DVD Shrink. And of course, if you have a DVD burner, you can burn it onto a DVD-R after removing the region code and watch on any player you want.
